Potter & Potter Auction House in Chicago, Illinois will be featuring 5 items from the library of the late J. Eastman Hatch (1894-1984), grandfather of Richard Hatch, in their September 4, 2025 auction of “Select Rarities”, 110 items ranging from signatures of Abraham Lincoln, Mark Twain and Albert Einstein, to early LDS publications. The Hatch lots are the first four, including the 1830 first edition Book of Mormon and an 1841 first European Book of Mormon, as well as Lot 106, the six volume Voyages of Vancouver.
